Dog Crate In Your Bedroom

"

It’s a good idea to start your puppy off sleeping in your bedroom. if you have a young puppy, it can be a good idea to move the crate into your bedroom at night, or more likely to have a second crate as moving one around each night is a nuisance.. Why put anything in a dog crate? because the crate should be a warm and welcoming place of comfort and security, where your dog likes to spend care-free time, to enjoy a good relaxing chew session or to rest and indulge in some sleep.. Put your dog in the crate using your regular command and a treat. initially, it may be a good idea to put the crate in your bedroom or nearby in a hallway, especially if you have a puppy. puppies often need to go outside to eliminate during the night, and you'll want to be able to hear your puppy when he whines to be let outside..

They purpose of crate training is to establish a safe space for your dog, where it can go it it wants some space. you are aiming to establish it as such, and so i would suggest moving it is redundant.. Just as you enjoy having your own room where you can go for peace and privacy, your dog likes having his own room, too! as well as giving him a safe, cozy place to stay, crates can make training your dog a lot easier.. Dog crate bedroom or downstairs. discussion in lots of people do. it's not cruel keeping the puppy downstairs in a crate during the night at all. if you want your dog when it is older to sleep downstairs then i wouldn't move the crate. i've never had a dog in the bedroom. poppy was the first dog i used a crate for and it was just used.
